I am grateful – as an American who strongly believes that LGBT rights are human rights and therefore all of us have a stake in achieving full equality under the law – that my mom talked about the need to protect marriage equality in the last debate; in the context of the potential nominees that Donald Trump has floated as almost uniformly being against marriage equality.
I was quite surprised that even in the vice-presidential debate, given Gov. Pence's regressive record in Indiana, that LGBT rights and civil and human rights did not come up. She was grateful to have had the chance. Fox was Clinton’s matron of honor at her wedding to Marc Mezvinsky in the summer of 2010.
Mezvinsky, a former Goldman Sachs banker, will soon start a hedge fund with a friend.
Their apartment, shared with a miniature Yorkshire terrier, is said to be overflowing with books.
“We live in a culture of gossip and entertainment, and Chelsea Clinton seems to be neither a great gossip nor a great entertainer,” said Hank Sheinkopf, a Democratic political consultant who worked for Bill Clinton.
“She’s a very serious person.”
News of Chelsea Clinton having a "secret lesbian love affair" with an exotic dancer has been doing rounds on the internet after a satirical news website called 'RINGSSSSS' which claims to be – voted "Best Satire Site On The Planet 3 Times," published a fictional story with the headline that says, Chelsea Clinton's Secret Lesbian Love Affair With Exotic Dancer."
Well, sorry to disappoint those who were looking for having fun of gossiping because that's not true.
Naturally, there's long been chatter about whether or not their daughter would follow in their political footsteps. The family promptly sat down for a spread in People magazine.
Six years later, during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Clinton was photographed walking hand in hand with her parents, the dutiful teenager keeping her family together as they strode sadly across the White House lawn.
“The No.?1 thing Bill and Hillary accomplished is raising Chelsea Clinton,” said James Steyer of Common Sense Media, who has stayed close with Chelsea Clinton since she was his student at Stanford University.
In public, she has always seemed like her mother — dutiful and restrained, as if politics were the high price to pay for public service.
I have no idea who they're going to grow up and discover themselves to be. But in the debates so far, LGBT rights haven't received attention. As she told The Telegraph in 2014, a person asked her about her political aspirations way back when her father was running for governor — when she was still in preschool. From rumors about dodgy dealings to wicked whispers from their wedding, there have been many strange rumors about Chelsea's marriage.
We certainly have to keep making that case in Philadelphia and elsewhere across the state.

Chelsea Clinton decides to come out of shadows
During casual dinners in New York, Chelsea Clinton began talking to friends about something she had been mulling: She wanted to stop pretending to be someone other than Chelsea Clinton.
What an assertion from someone who had lived most of her 31 years removed from the spotlight, despite the high profile of both parents — one a former president, the other the secretary of state.
Yes, Chelsea had been spotted through the years, as she grew from a gangly teenager into a stylishly dressed woman.
Still, for the most part, she seemed determined to keep her private life private.
This time, however, talk addressed the notion that, if she were to face the downside of being the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, under constant scrutiny, why not also take advantage of the upside?
Need a news break?I feel very strongly about this as a mom. My daughter's 2. I know she believes it's really important that she's not the only (one) as the future marches forward. “For most of my life, I deliberately led a private life in the public eye.”
But, after campaigning for her mother’s presidential bid in 2008, Clinton realized she liked speaking publicly on issues about which she has strong feelings.
Her grandmother Dorothy Rodham gave her some advice.
“She told me being Chelsea Clinton had happened to me, and, outside of my advocacy work and campaigning for my mom, I wasn’t doing enough in the world.”
Those conversations continued for a couple of years, until Rodham died in November.
“I took what she said seriously — that I had led an inadvertently public life for a long time and maybe it was time to start leading a purposefully public life.”
As unlikely as it might seem, those who watched her on her mother’s campaign are not surprised.
Analysts have referred to the suburbs in the region as a bellwether.
CC: Pennsylvania, clearly, writ large is hugely important … I also was raised – this now might seem an old-fashioned belief – that every vote really matters, which is why we've had such a focus in my mom's campaign over the last few months of registering people to vote up until the voter registration deadline … We're continuing to make the case about what's really at stake in this election.
Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental."
The website also warns that the content on its platform is unfit for users under 18 years. We have to finally pass the Equality Act. We have to continue the march toward an AIDS-free generation, particularly given the deeply worrying demographic trend of rising HIV rates among certain demographics across our country, including young LGBT men of color … We have a lot of work that we have to do.
Flag-waving extraordinaire,'" she recalled.
Whether or not the former first daughter ever holds office, it seems there will always be scrutiny surrounding her personal life. In private, friends say, Clinton is much more Bill Clinton’s daughter — argumentative and warm, with a biting sense of humor and a knack for remembering arcane facts.
Although Clinton is undeniably close to her father, she has also forged her own way on some crucial issues, particularly gay marriage.
In May, Clinton was at a New York nightclub to attend a benefit for a gay-rights group.
“I certainly believe that all of my friends .?.?.
Their personal lives and political careers have generated many headlines over the years. We're reaching inflection points on really understanding how to ensure that PrEP can be most effective.
We have to make those investments. I would argue that full LGBT equality has to be in that core.
PGN: If your mom and Tim Kaine are elected, what is their plan to begin tackling the many LGBT points that are written into the latest Democratic Party Platform?
CC: I think the contrast could not be clearer between the Democratic and the Republican party platforms.
