Sophie's Instagram post marking Pride comes after it was revealed she is set to star in new HBO series The Staircase.
The movie talent joins a star-studded line-up that already includes the likes of Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Parker Posey, Juliette Binoche and Rosemarie DeWitt.
The Staircase is centred on novelist Michael Peterson [Colin Firth] who was accused of murdering his second wife, Kathleen [Toni Collette] in 2001.
In the show, Sophie will play the role of Margaret Ratliff, who is one of the adopted daughters of Michael.
The eight-episode series has been in development for two years and is based on the 2004 docu-series of the same name, which was updated with new episodes in 2018, reports Variety.
