Awesome, you're subscribed!
Thanks for subscribing! The main character has a health condition and can't control his bladder.
The story is grittier and sleazier than your average BL, which may or may not appeal to some viewers. I was intrigued by what I saw, but the film needed more content to elevate the juicy story to a higher tier of BL.

The Morning After (2021)
The Morning After is a Taiwanese short movie about two men who have been hooking up for the past few years.
The protagonist is a realtor who returns home after spending a year abroad. The protagonist soon realizes his dad is in love with another man. As their friendship faces new challenges, they may be forced to confront their deeper feelings.
I enjoyed the second Let's Eat Together Aki and Haru movie, which retains the charm of the original.
This movie continues after the events of the original story.
However, the storytelling technique is clever and keeps me engaged. Ultimately, the indie movie stumbles and fails to convey poignant relationship melodrama.

Antique (2008)
Antique is the Korean movie adaptation of the Antique Bakery manga.
When the two characters meet, the interview isn't as straightforward as intended. Emotions run high as the story unravels, revealing the truth behind the accusations against him.
Powered by phenomenal acting performances, this profound film explores the themes of pain, trauma, and loss poignantly. A bewitching spell is placed upon the gay protagonist, who becomes terrorized by a ghost.
Although it doesn't have much literary merit, I wouldn't take this harmless little movie too seriously. This film also has a charming couple, racy encounters, tongue-in-cheek humour, and energetic musical numbers. Both leads deliver authentic performances that bring their characters to life. Soon, I'm captivated by the memorable arguments, confessions, and makeout sessions.

My Personal Trainer (2019)
My Personal Trainer is a silly and campy Korean BL comedy.
I like how the main character has a cool superpower and uses his psychometric ability in a few fascinating scenarios. Both leads are scantily clad and sensual performers, adding to the film's sauciness. He nearly drowns in the ocean, but a lifeguard rescues him. Instead of feeling emotionally attached, I observe their angsty drama through an indifferent lens.
However, he becomes engulfed in controversy after facing severe police allegations. The romance is also underdeveloped, and the couple needs more scenes together.

Let's Eat Together, Aki and Haru 2
Let's Eat Together Aki and Haru: More Please! is the sequel to the Japanese BL movie, continuing the ambiguous love story between two best friends who live together.
What they lack in physical intimacy, they make up for it in emotional support.

Old Narcissus (2023)
Old Narcissus is a Japanese gay movie about a senior man who pays a young escort for pleasure and companionship.
Despite the cheesy plot, fans adore the actors’ chemistry and the series quickly became a global phenomenon with a sequel and movie.
