The flap does 3 things; acts as the primary way to secure the grenade into the pouch, helps with signature management by covering the grenade, and also provides a laser cut pull tab to facilitate access to the grenade.

How it works: The NEW EG18 2015 edition Pouch from Enola Gaye has been well thought through. Pull aside the elastic and pull the grenade from the bottom, this also removes the plastic cap (most of the time) leaving it in your pouch (we have also added a rubber disc on the inside of the elastic so that accidental slip out can’t happen to your grenade).
