Real-Life Love
Since Outlander fans first tore through the pages of Diana Gabaldon’s books in the 1990s, they have been infatuated with Claire and Jamie Fraser’s love story and everyone else in their orbit.
When Starz adapted the series for television in 2014, it made sense that audiences would immediately find themselves rooting for the many couples, as played by the actors on screen.
So, to see the character out in the way that they’re intended is really important for me.’
The Binge List team were excited to hear all about David’s return, with WHO TV expert Gavin Scott telling listeners, ‘As an original cast member it’s great that he’s come back’
Adds co-host Clare Ridgen, ‘David Berry is a big deal now, he’s in Outlander.
“I’m in awe of him already and can’t help stare and wonder at all the possibilities of who he will become, where he will go and what he’ll do on the big adventure of his life.”
David Berry and wife Kristina Tesic
David Berry has brought to life Lord John Grey in Outlander, one of the most beloved characters in the series for his demeanor and loyalty.
Outside of the show, he’s found love in his wife Kristina Tesic, who he married in 2012. So, it’s pretty cool that he’s returned.’

But the Outlander cast doesn’t have a history of dating each other, no matter what fans dream up in their heads.
In most cases, the cast is largely private about their off-screen romantic lives. The couple, who were introduced through a friend, have been married since 2019 and in 2021, welcomed a child together.
‘They’ve been able to shoot around my schedule which is incredible, and never really happens.
‘I also really wanted to be in this, knowing it was the last season.
‘The show has always been really important for me. Caught up in a tangled same-sex love drama in deeply conservative 1950s Australia, there is plenty of scope for major twists.
‘I’ve been in the majority of this season,’ David revealed exclusively to Binge List listeners.
